Northeast India's largest Information Technology hub was inaugurated at Tripura's Agartala on Tuesday to boost employment, e-governance, and export of software technology. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, it is the sixth IT hub in the northeast and was set up at a cost of ₹50 crore. This would encourage Indian software companies to open businesses there, Sarkar said.
