Paralysed man senses 'feeling' through robotic fingers

A 28-year-old US man left paralysed after a car accident has admitted experiencing the sensation of touch after a robotic arm was connected directly to his brain, in a world-first breakthrough. The 'brain-computer interface' used small electrodes surgically implanted in the man's brain and enabled him to feel pressure in his own fingers when the robotic ones were touched.
