Nagaraj Manjule's romance drama film 'Sairat' has become the highest-grossing Marathi film of all time, having minted ₹41.11 crore in 11 days, as per film trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The film, featuring Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru, was released in about 450 screens in Maharashtra. It was also released in other parts of India with subtitles.
