A scuba diver survived eight hours in the Indian Ocean after he was separated from his boat, swimming 16 kilometres to reach the shore. Rescuers reportedly passed the 46-year-old, who had been diving off the Australian coast, several times. However, he saw his family looking for him using torchlights, and swam to the shore with their help.
