Snapchat has revealed the company spent over ₹6 crore on the personal security of its Co-founder and CEO Evan Spiegel because he gets a lot of death threats. Spiegel is a high profile individual who is likely to continue to receive threats in the future as well, said Snapchat. The company spent over ₹2.2 crore on Spiegel's security in 2015.
