Snowfall in Sahara Desert's Ain Sefra for 3rd time in 37 yrs

Sahara Desert has received around 15 inches of snow after a storm struck Ain Sefra in Algeria on Sunday. This marks the third time the region has received snow in 37 years. Interestingly, Ain Sefra is located around 3,280 feet above sea level and is surrounded by the Atlas Mountains.
