Startup makes coats usable as sleeping bags for homeless

US-based startup 'The Empowerment Plan' makes coats which can be used as sleeping bags for homeless people. The non-profit organisation has employed 34 homeless individuals since 2012, who have been trained to make these coats which can also be used as over-the-shoulder bags. Over 15,000 such coats have been distributed across Canada and USA.
