Zika virus used to treat brain cancer in mice, claims study
short by Gaurav Shroff / on Thursday, 7 September, 2017
A US-based study on mice and human brain tissue samples has claimed the mosquito-borne Zika virus can destroy cells responsible for glioblastoma, the most common form of brain cancer. The team hopes to begin human trials within 18 months.
