In a recent ruling, Allahabad High Court granted interim bail to a man accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) so that he could marry the survivor or the complainant. The man was in custody since January under charges of raping a 17-year-old girl. However, he filed a plea for bail at the High Court.
