Coast guards of India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives took part in a trilateral maritime drill to bolster security and enhance mutual operational capability on Saturday and Sunday. The drill is part of a trilateral engagement termed 'Dosti' that is conducted biennially. Both the Maldives and Sri Lanka hold considerable strategic importance to India's maritime security interests, according to PTI.
