A man from Hyderabad was sentenced to 16 years in jail in UK after he attempted to kill his ex-girlfriend at a biryani restaurant in March 2022. She told police they broke up before the incident. Before the attack, he had Googled "how to kill a human instantly with knife" and "what happens if a foreigner murders someone in UK".
