The election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Delhi, which was scheduled for Friday, has been postponed as no Presiding Officer was nominated. The EC had on Wednesday stated it had no objection to the polls, even as the office of L-G VK Saxena didn't nominate a Presiding Officer. "BJP got this election cancelled," said AAP leader Durgesh Pathak.
