The board of directors of Wipro has approved the reappointment of Azim Premji and his son Rishad on the board for five years, with effect from July 31. While Azim Premji has been reappointed as a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director, Rishad will remain the Executive Chairman till July 30, 2029. The reappointment is subject to shareholders' approval.
