Pakistani government has reportedly resumed fencing Gwadar city in Balochistan. "This tactic mirrors the historical pattern seen in colonised regions, where...colonisers fear...inhabitants' rightful claim to land, coastlines and resources," Baloch National Movement (BNM) wrote on X. The government's fencing plan in Gwadar, which would put entry and exit points there, was earlier halted in 2020.
