According to an official report quoted by the media, Indian Railways has introduced a new initiative to provide hygienic meals to passengers traveling in unreserved compartments and is currently operational at over 100 stations with nearly 150 counters. Economy meals are priced at Rs 20, while snack meals are priced at Rs 50, making them accessible and convenient for passengers.
