US President Joe Biden claimed the plane of his uncle, Ambrose Finnegan, who served in the military, was shot down in an area "having a lot of cannibals" over New Guinea during World War II. "They never recovered his body but the government went back when I went down there and checked and found parts of the plane," he added.
