Bihar's gangster-turned-politician and five-time Mokama MLA Anant Singh was released from Patna jail on a 15-day parole for the resolution of his ancestral land, officials said. Reacting to this, RJD leader Shakti Singh Yadav said, "The timing will certainly raise eyebrows as the land resolution could have been done after a month." Election is scheduled in Mokama on May 13.
