A son beat his mother with a stick, leading to her death, reportedly due to her refusal to pay for alcohol in Pune. The incident occurred between May 13 and 15 in Yerwada. A case of murder has been registered against the son and grandson involved. The deceased has been identified as Mangal Mohan Netke, aged 60.
