A German Shepherd dog, despite being on a leash, bit a six-year-old girl in Ajnara Integrity Housing Society in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. A CCTV footage showed Vanya Chauhan riding her cycle when the dog attacked her. Dog's owner was seen falling on ground as the animal ran towards the child. Vanya's mother claimed the dog also attacked her one-year-old son.
