Veteran banker Abhay Aima passed away on Saturday at the age of 63 in his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Aima was known for his work at HDFC Bank, where he headed the Equities & Private Banking Group. Before joining the bank in January 1995, he worked at Citibank. He retired from HDFC Bank in 2020.
