Delhi High Court has flagged the rampant use of oxytocin in dairies despite a blanket ban, over health issues. This natural hormone that manages key aspects of the female and male reproductive systems, including labour and delivery, was banned by the Central government in 2018. According to experts, estrogen affects the health of cattle and humans who consume their milk.
