Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has filed his nomination for Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat, vacated by his mother Sonia Gandhi. He was accompanied by Sonia, his sister Priyanka Gandhi, his brother-in-law Robert Vadra and party President Mallikarjun Kharge. Notably, Rahul had lost from the Amethi seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections to Union Minister Smriti Irani.
