Sony Pictures Entertainment and private equity firm Apollo Global Management have offered to buy Paramount Global for $26 billion, Reuters reported. Paramount, the media company behind 'Mission: Impossible' and 'Star Trek', is already in merger talks with Skydance Media. It recently replaced its CEO Bob Bakish with a group of three executives.
