People's Conference chief Sajad Lone has remarked that challenging the abrogation of Article 370 in the Supreme Court (SC) might have been a mistake. He, however, added that not doing so would've worsened things politically for mainstream parties of J&K. The SC last year upheld Centre’s August 5, 2019 decision to abrogate Article 370, which granted special status to J&K.
