Article 361 grants immunity to President and Governor as they're "not answerable to any court for exercise and performance of powers and duties" of their office. No criminal proceedings can be initiated or continued against President or Governor in court during their office term. West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose was recently accused of molesting a Raj Bhavan staffer.
