The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) will investigate Tesla after receiving reports of 20 crashes in recent months. The crashes involved vehicles that had received an updated version of Tesla's driver assistance system, Autopilot, under a recall. Tesla recalled over 20 lakh cars in December to install new safeguards in the system.
