No political clearance was either sought from or issued by MEA in respect of the travel of JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna to Germany, the Ministry of External Affairs said. He is accused of sexually assaulting several women and filming them. The ministry added that Revanna, the grandson of JD(S) supremo ex-PM Deve Gowda, travelled on a diplomatic passport.
