The parents of a girl who died in 2021 soon after being administered the Covishield vaccine have decided to sue AstraZeneca, the British-Swedish pharmaceutical multinational company that developed the vaccine during the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple said they took the decision after AstraZeneca admitted that in "very rare cases", its COVID-19 vaccine can cause a blood clot-related side effect.
