The Supreme Court has stayed Calcutta High Court's order directing further investigation by the CBI against officials in West Bengal in the alleged teachers' recruitment scam. Earlier, the High Court had declared the appointment of 25,753 teachers and non-teaching staffers by the state's School Service Commission invalid. The court will hear the matter on May 6.
