India has conveyed to the US that the alternatives to Russian weapons are too expensive, Bloomberg reported citing people aware of India-US exchanges on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As per the report, US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland had offered help to India in finding alternative sources of weapons to counter neighbours Pakistan and China.
