Indian and Australian governments have announced an Australia-India Young Defence Officers' Exchange Programme in memory of late CDS General Bipin Rawat, who was martyred in a helicopter crash in December. The programme will be named after General Rawat, Australia's High Commissioner to India Barry O'Farrell said. General Rawat took over as CDS after serving as Army chief for three years.
